Good day and thank you Deborah for inviting me to join this blog.  A friend of mine was interested in making some flooring and colour changes in her alternative health office.  We began with the practical question of flooring options but what I wanted to have her understand was that her office needed to please her.  She was the one who would spend many hours working there so any changes needed to make her feel calm yet energized.  If she felt calm and clear in her workspace then her clients would benefit also.

My friend chose to use neutral colours forflooring and walls to blend with the rest of the office.  We laid out the bagua energy map as it releated to her layout and travelled through the eight life areas to move some of the items she already had in the office.  Together we also created some options for further additions that allowed her to use her creativity.  The bagua map helped her to balance the energy of the room using colour and theme.  My friend had already done some reading about feng shui so we focused on the feeling she wanted to create.

Take a look around your office, close your eyes and imagine an office that you would be happy to come to each day.  Is there one small thing you could change to make it a reality?
