Great question.

Please don't throw them away. I actually have a piece of rock salt that was gifted to me from a salt mine in Utah. It has sat in my kitchen for years - I don't use it for cooking just the radiant energy it releases. The kitchen is one of two rooms in the house that doesn't happen to have a salt lamp. This chunk is perfect and doing its job. I know your rock salt is delivering the same energy to you.

And you can run them under water quickly - just don't let them sit in water, or as you mentioned, you will have strong salt water.

You are blessed to have them. Give them great honor!

Thanks

Interesting. Salt lamps would not be available in Morocco. But I do have three large pieces of rock salt (together with some other minerals, as part of my rock collection) sitting on a shelf about two feet behind my desk chair, where I spend hours each day. (I'm not planning to throw them away, or wash them as they will disintegrate in water. Do you have any thoughts about this? The rocks are from our High Atlas mountains, and certainly would have formed in a pollution-free environment of the distant past.

Best regards

Roberta

I don't want you to think of this as a shameless advertisement but we have a lot of Feng Shui practitioners from around the country as customers at SaltLampCreations.

From the feedback I have received, they find the deeper wood tones of our custom rosewood bases more in tune with the peach colors of the Salt. They appreciate the fact that we do not allow our factory to pressure wash off the crytaline salt from the surface of our lamps. The effect of having the surface in a more natural state is that our Salt Lamps glisten more than most, which has been deemed to be especially auspicious.

I am looking forward to reading the other parts of your post!
