Meditation - Going Into the Quiet

meditation-going-into-the-quiet

I have the lyrics from the Beatles song Let It Be running through my head, “in times of trouble Mother Mary comes to me. Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.” It is a song that keeps repeating over and over in my head. So, I take time to contemplate its meaning. I find that it is to write about how we can be calm and peaceful during times of trouble.

I recently wrote two articles for Where Energy Flows regarding the financial recession and what we can do to be positive during this time. Just the word recession has such low vibrational energy attached to it that we can feel our energy fall when we say or read the word.  I would like to try to bring up our energies through this blog article.

Interior Alignment™ taught me so many wonderful life lessons and also validated my conscious steps on my soul journey. One of these gems and validations is about meditation. As practitioners we are taught how to assist a client by using Synchro Alignment which is a form of guided meditation. As a teacher, I teach Interior Alignment™ practitioners how to use Synchro Alignment with their clients. Synchro Alignment has taught me how to be calm and peace during “times of trouble”. How we can bring those divine parts of ourselves all to one place and align so that we may be clear conduits for divine Creator energy. Interior Alignment™ practitioners know that our soul already knows the answer we just need to be quiet and calm to hear our soul’s voice.

The Onondaga Nation, calls meditation going into the silence or quiet. It is in the silence or quiet that we can hear our soul’s voice. We can hear the Creator through our souls.  As we use meditation as a tool to help ourselves to identify what we want from life, to set our intentions, we begin to live our lives from a peaceful place.

Once we set our intention to live our lives in a certain way, sometimes we just need to “let it be” and have the faith and believe that Spirit, Creator, the Universe is behind us as we do our part in our daily lives.

As Mahatma Gandhi said,”we must be the change we wish to see in the world”. This means to me that we do our part and we start with ourselves. We start with ourselves by going into the quiet of a mediation to hear our soul’s voice as we make our way to a clear intention for our lives.

Blessings, Neshi.

Feng Shui Front Doors

feng-shui-front-doors

“I have come back again to where I belong; not an enchanted place, but the walls are strong.” — Dorothy H. Rath.

When I did my Interior AlignmentTM and Feng Shui training in California in 2001, I learned , which is a system that synchronises and aligns a person’s energy and with their home. It can also tell us how our home affects us on a subconscious level.

The first time we practiced this technique, we had to lead each other through the rooms of our home through guided visualization beginning at our front doors. When my partner led me, the first thing that I noticed is that my front door really bothered me. The screen door squeaked and the spring was too tight so that the door smacked me in the back as I was unlocking the front door.

I knew both things in my waking consciousness, but until I did this exercise I didn’t realise how much irritation was involved. Basically every single time I went into my house the first thing I felt was irritation. This is significant. The front door is where all the energy for your home enters. Terah Kathryn Collins in Feng Shui Room by Room, calls the front door the “avenue of good fortune that attracts helpful people and opportunities into your home.” The front door is the place you and everyone who comes to your home, makes lasting impressions about who you are.

Good feng shui for front doors is common sense. We know it reflects poorly on us if the finish on our front doors is damaged, or if the paint is chipped and peeling. We know lighting over the door is important, and that it should be replaced promptly when bulbs burnt out. Obstacles on the path or steps leading to your front door can be dangerous, so we know already they should be moved out of the way. We do a good job on the ‘big’ front door issues already. It is sometimes the more subtle things that give pause for thought.

When we neglect things like squeaky hinges, doorknobs that wobble, or doors that do not fully open because of items stored behind them, this can indicate a degree of neglect for ourselves. We might fix the problem for someone else, but not for ourselves.

The first thing I did when I came home from California was oil the hinges. And I loosened the spring on the screen door. I painted the cement pathway a gorgeous eggplant colour and stencilled some stars in a meandering pattern with metallic paint. The screen door is painted in the same shade of and the inner door is painted is a softer lavender. Now it looks so pretty, like a much-loved old pair of blue jeans, and it is part of the of my home. It is comfortable and accepting. It is a place where I can be myself. And I now when I come home I feel welcomed.

Synchro Alignment - the Best Way to Connect with Your Home

synchro-alignment-the-best-way-to-connect-with-your-home

Imagine, you are in your bed, all warm and comfortable. Your pillow feels so good. Your eye lids become heavy, your muscles are relaxed, you take a deep breath in and let it out slowly.  This moment just before sleep feels so good. Do you remember this experience of moments just before you fall asleep? The feeling of being so relaxed…

This between awake and relaxed state can be replicated in meditation. This physical place between awake and asleep we in Interior Alignment™ call the beginning steps to a Synchro Alignment. Synchro Alignment is a form of guided meditation.  Synchro Alignment is a unique process to Interior Alignment™ that synchronizes and aligns a person’s energy and intention with their home.

As Interior Alignment™ practitioners this is one of our best tools to assist clients to connect with themselves and to their home or business. Synchro Alignment is a process that relaxes the physical body and mental mind so that the creative part of a client can be more available.  This creative part is the Soul Self or the Higher Self. A Synchro Alignment can take as little as 15 minutes or as long as 45 minutes.

Practitioners of Interior Alignment™ are taught that they are facilitators assisting clients with feng shui and space clearing. Clients already know at a soul level what is for their best and highest good, even when it comes to what color to paint a room. As practitioners we facilitate this connection by using Synchro Alignment.

I wrote about Synchro Alignment in a previous blog article.  In that article, I shared that when I teach feng shui and space clearing workshops, I love to have the attendees experience a short Synchro Alignment.  I would like to share with you the topic I use for this purpose the most often, Finding Your Home Guardian.

Every home has a guardian.  Meeting your home guardian creates a special connection to your home or space. The Guardian can come in many different forms from an angel, a plant or to an animal. It is important to accept whatever form your Home Guardian comes in as it is unique to your home. Sometimes we “think” that we should have a Native American chief rather than a Victorian Angel. Your home’s unique vibration or unique personality is symbolized through the type of Home Guardian.

Once meeting the Home Guardian you can begin to forge a conscious relationship with your Home Guardian. For instance, my Home Guardian is an angel named Jedidiah. I ask Jed to help me with furniture placement, wall color and most times when I leave my home I ask Jed to take care and protect our home while I am away. Jed and my dog, Ginger, are the best protectors and caretakers of our home that we call La Vida Dulce (The Sweet Life). A Home Guardian may also assist you with healing your home. The most important element here is that you ask your Home Guardian for assistance. As in most cases, they can only assist you if they are asked to do so.

As a practitioner and teacher of Interior Alignment™ I find that Synchro Alignment empowers a client as well as a student practitioner. Synchro Alignment allows us to connect with our Higher Self. It also encourages us to connect with our creativity and imagination. It is no wonder why Synchro Alignment™ is such a powerful Interior Alignment™ tool.
